OUR STORY
Introducing Global Impact Ventures, our newly unified family of brands
Our story began nearly 70 years ago when four nonprofits came together to inspire greater giving to global causes in the federal workplace, forming Global Impact. As Global Impact evolved to include philanthropic advisory and infrastructure services, in another part of the world, two international philanthropists established Geneva Global to provide professional philanthropic services.
The shared mission of supporting high-impact social change programs through effective philanthropy brought Global Impact and Geneva Global together. Subsequently, the Global Impact Social Welfare Fund and Capital for Good, boutique brands that provide niche services in untapped areas of philanthropy, joined our group.
Although our four organizations were connected, from the outside, we looked disjointed. With different logos, mission statements, colors, and styles, we didn’t look like the cohesive team we were within our walls. And as strategic leaders, we knew the value of a clear, comprehensive brand and story. It was time for the next chapter in ours.
We’re pleased to introduce Global Impact Ventures, our newly unified family of brands. We’re the same team with the same mission and vision, united to serve all of philanthropy.
Our collective partnership empowers us to be a collaborative, innovative, and transformative team bringing human-centered results to all levels of giving. We reject one-size-fits-all strategies in favor of nuanced, customized solutions — from acting as a guiding beacon for top-level strategy to rolling up our sleeves as day-to-day implementors for our clients. We take philanthropy and its role in global development efforts to the next level, convening all types of giving for maximum impact around the world.
